FRANCISCAN The writings of our founder Father Joseph Anthony and the example of Angela Maria del Giglio guide our growth in the intentions of St. Francis and the modeling of the Franciscan saints.

MISSIONARY Our Constitutions declare our commitment to evangelization, to leading people to the peace of Christ.“As Franciscan missionaries, we want to follow the example of St. Francis who desired ardently to make his Lord known to all men. ‘He did not consider himself a friend of Christ if he did not love the souls that he loved.’A profound experience of the word and of the person of Jesus can mature in us the response to his invitation to leave all things and preach the Gospel to every creature.”
(Constitutions 93.1-2). Redemptoris Missio

SISTERS Our fraternity is a living testament to the Gospel and to the Holy Spirit that unites us.
“A fraternity is a gift that the Spirit makes to a particular church and its very presence, if authentic, is efficacious in order to give testimony of the Gospel and for the opening of the hearts of the brethren to the Gospel”(Constitutions 94.1).

OF ASSISI We live the legacy of St. Francis by serving in peace and poverty, care for creation, and by supporting inter-religious dialogue, in communion with other branches of the Franciscan family, including Franciscans International, a non-governmental organization at the United Nations.http://www.vatican.va/holy_father/john_paul_ii/encyclicals/documents/hf_jp-ii_enc_07121990_redemptoris-missio_en.htmlhttp://www.franciscansinternational.orgshapeimage_2_link_0shapeimage_2_link_1
“...fraternity in the vocabulary of Francis [means] that Jesus became brother to all of us in the Incarnation...Gospel life means being ever open to a deeper relationship with God in Christ, in whose footsteps we walk.”
